SHANGHAI, Nov 9 (SMM) - Southeast Inner Mongolia, north-central Liaoning, south Jilin and west Heilongjiang has ushered in a heavy snowstorm since November 7.

The land transportation from northeast China to south China has been interrupted, and copper cathode cannot be transported to south China. However, the smelters (involving a total production capacity of 1.05 million mt/year) have sufficient raw material reserves and their production is normal. It is worth noting that the impact of the cold wave will basically end on November 9. Land transport is expected to return to normal in the next 2-3 days.
