DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Nov 2 (SMM) – The Alashankou port reopened for customs clearance on October 27, but its operation efficiency is still low due to the pandemic prevention and control requirement.
A large amount of copper concentrate is piled up at the Alashankou port. Customs clearance issues have greatly affected the supply of raw materials for copper smelters in the north-west.
Those smelters were forced to reduce the input of copper concentrate. This is expected to affect their copper cathode output.
