The Energy Administration of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued the "Emergency Notice on Accelerating the Release of Some Coal Mine Production Capacity".

SHANGHAI, Oct 8 (SMM) – The Energy Administration of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued the "Emergency Notice on Accelerating the Release of Some Coal Mine Production Capacity".

The notice requires relevant departments to notify the 72 coal mines listed in the national potential list to temporarily organise production according to the designed capacity. The total planned capacity increase is 98.35 million, and the actual capacity increase is expected to be about 45 million mt.

Considering the impact of the dual energy consumption control and power rationing measures on the demand side, the increase in the production capacity will affect the coal supply and demand relationship in winter.

According to the relevant personnel, the relevant coal mines can temporarily schedule production according to the monthly average distribution of the annual production capacity after the increase, but the relevant coal mines can apply for converting the temporarily increased capacities to permanent production capacities.
