Shanxi Kept Average Daily Coal Output above 3.3 Million mt to Ensure National Coal Supply

SHANGHAI, Nov 23 (SMM) – As of November 21, Shanxi has supplied 21.87 million mt of thermal coal to 14 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in China.

In order to accelerate the completion of the national task of supplying 53 million mt thermal coal to 14 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), the coal enterprises in Shanxi have raised their operating rates to increase coal output.

Since October, the average daily coal output in Shanxi has been standing above 3.3 million mt, and the monthly coal output in Q3 has exceeded 100 million mt. The coal mines in Shanxi are producing at full capacities.

In Inner Mongolia, there are 312 coal mines in production, all of which have lifted the operating rates. The daily coal output reached a record high at 3.86 million mt on November 20, including the 2.8 million mt produced in Ordos City.
