SHANGHAI, Dec 27 (SMM) – China will lower its tariffs on polysilicon and silicon metal from South Korea in 2019, the Customs tariff Commission of the State Council announced earlier in the week.
Effective from January 1, tariffs on South Korean polysilicon imports would be 2.6%, down from 2.9% in 2018, and tariffs on silicon metal would be removed, compared to a rate of 0.8% in 2018.
