Long steel inventories in Guangzhou fall after last week's build-up

Social inventories of long steel in Guangzhou fell 6.45% from a week ago to stand at 681,600 mt as of Thursday Sep 20

SHANGHAI, Sep 20 (SMM) – Social inventories of long steel in Guangzhou, Guangdong province decreased 6.45%, or 47,000 mt, from a week ago to stand at 681,600 mt as of Thursday September 20, SMM data showed. This came after an increase of 15.8% in the stocks last Thursday.

Stocks of rebar fell 39,100 mt, or 9%, over the week to 394,000 mt while stocks of wire rods shrank 7,900 mt, or 2.7%, to 287,600 mt.
