The inventories remained flat over the weekend.Stocks in Shanghai rose slightly as smelters ramped up shipments on higher transaction prices than Guangdong and Tianjin and the restocking by the downstream producers was not bad. Guangdong saw a decline in stocks as the arrivals of goods in the market declined and downstream producers increased restocking when zinc prices trended lower. The stocks in Tianjin continued to increase amid relatively weak demand. Inventories in Shanghai, Guangdong and Tianjin rose 100 mt, and inventories across seven Chinese markets were flat.
