Chemical grade silicon price down slightly in early Apr
The prices of chemical grade silicon #421 fell some 300 yuan/mt from early March as organosilicon plants’ monthly procurement came to an end, SMM learned.
SHANGHAI, Apr 4 (SMM) – The prices of chemical grade silicon #421 fell some 300 yuan/mt from early March as organosilicon plants’ monthly procurement came to an end, SMM learned.
Such drop, however, is considered relatively small amid a rather balanced market.
The #421 silicon mostly traded at 15,100-15,300 yuan/mt at Huangpu port in Shanghai on Wednesday April 4, and 15,200-15,400 yuan/mt at Tianjin port.
