Price spread in chemical-grade silicon offers grows

SHANGHAI, Mar 29 (SMM) – Chemical-grade silicon saw mixed offers in China, across various inventory levels at plants in late March, SMM learned.

The price spread widened further as downstream consumers began monthly procurement. Plants with high inventories offered low while those with ample orders offered relatively high.

However, prices of chemical-grade silicon are likely to fall as buyers slow down their purchases.
