China Silicon Plants Lower Selling Price, SMM Reports

SHANGHAI, Sept. 6 (SMM) – Chinese silicon metal plants lowered selling price this week, following some traders who sold goods at lower price last week, SMM reports.

Oxygen-free #553 silicon metal plants in Sichuan, Hunan, Guizhou, Chongqing and Inner Mongolia continued lowering price, with prices at the Port of Huangpu down to as low as 13,800 yuan per tonne.

Silicon plants in one region in Yunnan held their quotes firm, though.

Trading remained lackluster.
