SHANGHAI, Aug. 28 (SMM) – Anglo American’s copper ore output fell 2% to 140,800 tonnes in the second quarter of 2017 due to delay in mining permit renewal.
Its copper ore sales were restricted in H1 2017 since Chile temporarily closed ports. Moreover, high arsenic content in copper concentrate produced at Collahuasi also restricted sales to China.
