SHFE Zinc Price down 0.13% (2017-8-24)

SHFE 1710 zinc opened at RMB 26,110/mt and closed at RMB 25,930/mt, down RMB 35/mt or 0.13%.
SHANGHAI, Aug. 24 (SMM) – On Thursday, SHFE 1710 zinc opened at RMB 26,110/mt and then advanced to RMB 26,295/mt briefly. The contract dropped to RMB 26,135/mt after longs took profits. During the afternoon trading, SHFE 1710 zinc fluctuated at around RMB 26,015/mt and fell to RMB 25,920/mt at the tail of trading before closing at RMB 25,930/mt, down RMB 35/mt or 0.13%. Trading volumes reduced 87,822 to 358,000 lots and positions were down 22,206 to 277,000.
SHFE 1710 zinc will fluctuate at around RMB 25,900/mt on Thursday’s nigh trading.
