SHANGHAI, Aug. 30 (SMM) – Spot premiums in Guangdong surpassed those in Shanghai as of August 30.

Premiums of Imported Zinc May Turn to Discounts with Continuous Influx of Imported Resources, SMM Reports

Spot zinc premiums are 180-200 yuan per tonne over September zinc on the SHFE for now. In Shanghai, spot premiums narrowed 70 yuan per tonne from yesterday, shrinking from 220-250 to 150-180 yuan per tonne.

Consequently, zinc prices in Shanghai turned from 50 yuan per tonne above to 30-50 yuan per tonne below Guangdong.
