SHFE Zinc Prices Up 3.54% (2017-3-29)

SHFE 1705 zinc started at RMB 23,200/mt and ended at RMB 23,380/mt, up RMB 800/mt or 3.54%.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 29 (SMM) – On Wednesday, SHFE 1705 zinc started at RMB 23,200/mt and then fluctuated narrowly at around RMB 23,110/mt. During the afternoon trading, SHFE 1705 zinc advanced to RMB 23,350/mt quickly, up to as high as RMB 23,410/mt. The contract ended at RMB 23,380/mt, up RMB 800/mt or 3.54%. Trading volumes increased 91,160 to 832,000 lots and positions rose 2,388 to 250,000. Positions of SHFE 1706 zinc were up 10,596 to 170,000 with trading volumes up 31,074 to 208,000 lots.

SHFE 1705 zinc will stay firm on Wednesday’s night trading.
