SHANGHAI, Jul. 17 (SMM) – Refined nickel inventories in bonded area held by C. Steinweg Logistics were down in the week ending Jul. 21 on a weekly basis, according to Shanghai Metals Market source.
C. Steinweg Logistics Holds Nickel Inventories Stable in Bonded Area
The company held refined nickel inventories at 35,000 tonnes this past week, down 2,000 tonnes on a weekly basis, SMM learns.
The opening of profit import window activated trading sentiment in the imported nickel market, bringing some goods in bonded area into domestic spot market.
Nickel inventories in bonded area are expected to keep falling in the coming week, SMM predicts.
