Global Crude Steel Output Expands 3.2% YoY in June 2017

Global crude steel was 141 million tonnes in June 2017, up 3.2% YoY, and grew 4.5% YoY to 836 million tonnes in the first half of year.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 21 (SMM) – Global crude steel was 141 million tonnes in June 2017, up 3.2% YoY, and grew 4.5% YoY to 836 million tonnes in the first half of year, which included 67 countries, according to World Steel Association.

Asia reports crude steel output at 576.8 million tonnes in 1H 2017, up 4.8% YoY, and that in EU lifted 4.1% YoY to 86.1 million tonnes. Crude steel output was 57.4 million tonnes in North America at the same period, up 2.4% YoY.

[Waste Lead-Acid Battery Collection Enterprise Updates] Recently, the Xinye Branch of the Nanyang Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau in Henan Province officially approved the Environmental Impact Assessment Report for the waste lead-acid battery collection, storage, and transfer project of Nanyang Zhongjie Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.
