SHANGHAI, Jun. 14 (SMM) - Grupo Mexico President Pablo Kuczynski said Tuesday the company will double its metal smeting capacity in Peru after the promulgation of new environmental protection law in the country, wenhua.com reported.

Peru announced the country will implement new environmental protection law which is loosened from former standards.
Grupo Mexico has Toquepala and Cuajone copper mines and Ilo smelter in Peru. The Ilo smelter processed 1 million mt of copper concentrate last year.
