SHANGHAI, May 10 (SMM) - Henan’s output of 10 nonferrous metals fell 2.30% year-on-year to 1.367 million tonnes during January-March, compared to a 9% growth in China, cnmn.com reported.
Copper cathode output in Henan decreased 5.71% to 103,600 tonnes in the first quarter, accounting for 4.85% of national total, compared to a 7.3% rise in China, which represents 8.89% of national total.
Aluminum production in the province fell 3.34% to 728,700 tonnes, which accounts for 8.89% of China’s total. China’s aluminum output increased 10.9%.
Henan’s lead production was 419,700 tonnes during January-March, up 0.85% year-on-year, compared with 9.9% growth in China’s lead production. The Province’s lead output accounts for 32.76% of national total.
