Shanghai Sees Increased Zinc Imports as Losses Fall, SMM Reports

Inflows of imported zinc increased in Shanghai from the last week of April since import losses shrank, SMM reported.

SHANGHAI, May 3 (SMM) - Inflows of imported zinc increased in Shanghai from the last week of April since import losses shrank, SMM reported.

Most of these shipments were from India, Mexico and Peru.

Some 10,000 tonnes of imported zinc flowed to Shanghai market this week, weighing on premiums of domestic brands.
