Mexico Releases Major Metals Output in February, Copper Output Rose 13.3%

National Statistics Institute reported Mexican copper output increased 13.3% year-on-year to 42,533 tonnes in February, and lead production fell 9.2% year-on-year to 15,467 tonnes, wenhua.com reported

SHANGHAI, May. 2 (SMM) – National Statistics Institute reported Mexican copper output increased 13.3% year-on-year to 42,533 tonnes in February, and lead production fell 9.2% year-on-year to 15,467 tonnes, wenhua.com reported.

Zinc production added 5.0% on a yearly basis to 33,853 tonnes.

Chile Copper Output Slid 23% in March after Escondida Hurt by Strike

Mexican silver and gold output decreased 5.1% and 14.7% year-on-year, respectively, to 355,616 kg and 8,637 kg.
