Solar market demand improved but prices were divergent this past week, reported by EnergyTrend.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 6 (SMM) – Solar market demand improved but prices were divergent this past week, reported by EnergyTrend. Polysilicon producers gave no offers, leading to sluggish trading, and prices dropped 4% week-on-week.

However, solar enterprises are likely to rush to install PV power station, restricting ant decline in polysilicon price. Solar enterprises were active in installing PV power station on June 30, 2016, boosting polysilicon demand.

Prices of monocrystal silicon and polysilicon stopped dropped this past week but were still in falling territory. Solar market is improving but some market players remain wait-and-see stance.
