SHANGHAI, Jan. 23 (SMM) – Base metal prices on the SHFE are expected to continue diverging on Monday, Shanghai Metals Market predicts.
“Trading sentiment in China’s domestic market is expected to low as investors gradually leave for the upcoming 2017 Chinese New Year holiday, and price divergence is expected to be continuing,” SMM says.
Copper: 46,100-46,850 yuan per tonne
Aluminum: 13,590-13,990 yuan per tonne
Lead: 18,200-18,600 yuan per tonne
Zinc: 22,350-22,650 yuan per tonne
Tin: 145,000-147,000 yuan per tonne
Nickel: 81,000-83,000 yuan per tonne
Note: Prices all above are for most-actively traded contract on the SHFE.
