SHANGHAI, Nov. 7 (SMM) - Rio Tinto believes development of electric vehicles will positive affect copper demand, wenhua.com reported.

By the year of 2030, solar power generation will use about 7-10 million tonnes of copper, the company’s Chief Executive Officer Jean-Sebastien Jacques said. 90 kg or even ore copper will be used to produce on electric vehicle.
