South Korea PPS Buys Copper, Zinc and Re-solicits Bid for Zinc

South Korean PPS said on its website it had bought 3,500 tonnes of copper and 1,000 tonnes of zinc, and resolicited bid for 1,000 tonnes of zinc due to failure of previous tender, wenhua.com reports.

SHANGHAI, Sep. 22 (SMM) - South Korean PPS said on its website it had bought 3,500 tonnes of copper and 1,000 tonnes of zinc, and resolicited bid for 1,000 tonnes of zinc due to failure of previous tender, wenhua.com reports.

The 3,500 tonnes of copper was supplied by Andus Metal at a premium of $57 per tonne, which is made in Chile. And the 1,000 tonnes of zinc bought by the company is produced in South Korea, and supplied by Youngpoong Corp at a premium of $185 per tonne. Shipments are about to arrive in November.

The company resolicited bid for 1,000 tonnes of zinc, with arrival required on November 11 at the Port of Busan, South Korea. The brand should be registered on the LME and produced in the same country.
