China Rare Earth Exports Rise in July

China’s rare earth exports increased in July both on month-on-month and year-on-year basis.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 10 (SMM) – China’s rare earth exports increased in July both on month-on-month and year-on-year basis. 

Exports were 3,945 tonnes in July, up from 3,849 tonnes in June and up 2.5% from a year ago, data from askci.com showed. Export value also rose 6.7% from a year ago to $ 30.5 million in July. 

Exports totaled 27,158 tonnes during January-July, a 54.8% jump from the same period last year, while export value fell 5.2% to $ 202.1 million.
