SHANGHAI, Apr. 21 (SMM) – Export volumes of rare earth from China’s Inner Mongolia dropped 7% on the year in the first quarter, to 1,009.9 tonnes, and the average export price tumbled 38.2% to 340,000 yuan per tonne, local media reported, citing Customs data.

Exports from Baotou City grew 5.3% to 975.2 tonnes in Q1, claiming 96.6% of Inner Mongolia’s total exports.
