SHFE 1604 aluminum opened at RMB 10,900/mt on Tuesday.

SHANGHAI, Feb. 16 (SMM) – SHFE 1604 aluminum opened at RMB 10,900/mt on Tuesday. Entry of longs pushed prices up to RMB 11,070/mt, but prices fell back in the afternoon due to profit-taking by some longs. Finally, the most active contract ended at RMB 11,045/mt. Trading volumes were up 206,000 lots to 282,232 lots, and positions were up 36,024 to 257,796.
