On Thursday’s night trading, SHFE 1610 aluminum slid to RMB 12,655/mt after opening at RMB 12,780/mt, ending at RMB 12,680/mt.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 19 (SMM) –On Thursday’s night trading, SHFE 1610 aluminum slid to RMB 12,655/mt after opening at RMB 12,780/mt, ending at RMB 12,680/mt.

On Friday, SHFE 1610 aluminum slipped to RMB 12,605/mt after opening at RMB 12,680/mt. But prices then rebounded on long buying, ending at RMB 12,685/mt. Trading volumes were down 67,056 lots to 168,504 lots, and positions were down 7,898 to 244,700.
