Major Chinese Stainless Steel Mills Cut NPI Procurement Price

Major Chinese stainless steel mills reduced the procurement price for high-grade NPI according to their latest bidding price, Shanghai Metals Market learns.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 16 (SMM) – Major Chinese stainless steel mills reduced the procurement price for high-grade NPI according to their latest bidding price, Shanghai Metals Market learns. 

Sichuan Southwest Stainless Steel Co. resumed purchasing, but cut the procurement price by 60 yuan to 1,150 yuan per tonne. The company suspended NPI buying last week. 

Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel Co. also lowered the purchase price to 1,060 yuan per tonne, down 40 yuan.  
 
All prices are cash on delivery, including tax.
