Pohang Stainless Steel Co., purchased NPI from long-term suppliers at 1,310 yuan ($212) per mtu after a 30 yuan subsidy for them, Shanghai Metals Market learnt.
SHANGHAI, Jul. 10 (SMM) – Pohang Stainless Steel Co., purchased NPI from long-term suppliers at 1,310 yuan ($212) per mtu after a 30 yuan subsidy for them, Shanghai Metals Market learnt.
The price, however, attracted little sales interest from NPI producers, leaving very limited products for purchases.
Ex-works prices from NPI producers were generally between 1,300-1,320 yuan per tonne, according to SMM.
