SHANGHAI, May 16 (SMM) – Silicon demand has held stable in South Korea, in contrast with sluggishness in China. SMM will organize in-dept business tours on the entire silicon industrial chain of South Korea during Jul. 7-12 to discover the cause.
Statistics show South Korea imports 90% of its silicon metal from China. In recent years, with the nation vigorously encouraging concentrated development of its solar industry, Yeongwol-gun of Gangwon-do has become the center of its solar power industry.
