South China Aluminum: Downstream Buyers Replenish at Low Prices

The most active SHFE aluminum price stabilized at RMB 16,200/mt and moved up narrowly on Wednesday.

SHANGHAI, May 2 (SMM) – The most active SHFE aluminum price stabilized at RMB 16,200/mt and moved up narrowly on Wednesday, promoting spot prices in South China to continued rising. Cargo holders held prices at RMB 16,160/mt. Downstream enterprises only purchased at low prices and transactions turned quiet as aluminum prices rose to RMB 16,180/mt.
