DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Apr. 28 (SMM) -- Customs data shows China's aluminum semis exports during March were 240,000 mt, down 7.7% YoY, but up 26.3% MoM. Aluminum profile exports increased 35.99% YoY, to 81,000 mt. Aluminum plate, sheet and strip exports fell 30.43% YoY, to 91,000 mt, but aluminum foil exports grew by 9.86% YoY, to 59,000 mt. SMM attributes the increase in aluminum semis exports during March to stronger overseas demand and a favorable SHFE/LME aluminum price ratio. SMM expects exports to rise again in April, but less than March’s increase.
