SHFE #1 Lead Price Movement on April 11

SHFE lead prices gapped lower on Wednesday due to the slump of LME lead prices.
SHANGHAI, Apr. 11 (SMM) – SHFE lead prices gapped lower on Wednesday due to the slump of LME lead prices. In domestic spot markets, lead prices also staged remarkable declines. Quotations for Chihong Zn & Ge and Nanfang were between RMB 15,570-15,580/mt, with premiums of RMB 100/mt over SHFE 1207 lead price. Other brands including Shenqian were quoted around RMB 15,550/mt. Sellers were unwilling to move goods, while downstream buyers purchased in limited amounts with fewer orders.
