South China Aluminum: Prices Rise with Tight Goods Supply

On Monday, the most active SHFE aluminum price stabilized at RMB 16,200/mt.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 26 (SMM) – On Monday, the most active SHFE aluminum price stabilized at RMB 16,200/mt. Spot aluminum prices in South China moved up slightly to RMB 16,000/mt due to the low selling interest of cargo holders, with mainstream transactions done at RMB 15,990-16,010/mt. Downstream buyers still purchased on an as-needed basis. Transactions were stable in general.
