Operating Rates at Aluminum Plate, Sheet, Strip and Foil Producers Rise 13.28% in February

SHANGHAI, Mar. 15 (SMM) -- According to a recent SMM survey, the average operating rate at 34 domestic aluminum plate, sheet, strip and foil producers was 54.33% during February, up 13.28% MoM, but down 13.26% YoY, an indication of a weak start for China’s aluminum plate, sheet, strip and foil industry.

Operating rates at large producers were 53.67%, up 12.23% from January; operating rates at medium producers were 56.94%, up 16.29% from January; and operating rates at small producers were 55.76%, up 23.40% from January.
