The operating rates of blast furnaces at steel mills dropped 0.74% from a week ago, and decreased 2.19% from a month ago to 77.11% as of November 3, SMM survey showed.

SHANGHAI, Nov 3 (SMM) - The operating rates of blast furnaces at steel mills dropped 0.74% from a week ago, and decreased 2.19% from a month ago to 77.11% as of November 3, SMM survey showed. Some blast furnaces in east China resumed operation, but more suspended in north China due to the production restrictions in the heating season, which pushed down the overall operating rates.
