Cobalt Salt Prices Supported by Production Cost
Jun 14, 2011 14:28SHANGHAI, Jun. 14 (SMM) -- Cobalt chloride prices found support between RMB 660,000-680,000/mt and cobalt sulfuric found support between RMB 560,000-580,000/mt this week. A buyer wanted to purchase cobalt chloride at RMB 64,000/mt, but a cobalt chloride producer in Hunan province can only accept price at RMB 66,000/mt. Producers’ acceptance towards price at RMB 68,000/mt was relatively high. Although demand was weak, leading producers were reluctant to move goods at low price due to high production costs. Cobalt salt prices found certain cost support at current low price level.
