SHANGHAI, Apr 27 - According to the latest statistics from the China Gold Association, in the first quarter of 2022, gold output from domestic raw materials was 83.401 tonnes, 8.962 mt more than the first quarter of 2021, an increase of 12.04% year-on-year. In addition, 24.034 mt of gold was produced from imported raw materials in the first quarter of 2022, an increase of 0.18% year-on-year. If this part is added, China’s total gold output will amount to 107.435 mt, an increase of 9.15% year-on-year.
260.26 mt of gold was consumed in China in the first quarter of 2022, a decrease of 9.69% year-on-year.
