SMM11, March 9-Copper production in the third quarter of: Copper Mountain Mining was 18.934 million pounds, up 16 percent from the same period last year; gold production was 6630 ounces, up 2 percent from the same period last year; and silver production was 81418 ounces, up 42 percent from the same period last year.
Of this total, the C1 cash cost of copper in the third quarter was $1.27 / lb, down 40% from a year earlier; the total maintenance cost of copper ((AISC)) decreased by 37% to $1.43 / lb.
The company aims to produce 7000-75 million pounds of copper in 2020 and said it would produce more copper in the fourth quarter, benefiting from improved grade and recovery.
