SHFE 1801 Nickel Rises 3.81% (2017-8-9)

SHANGHAI, Aug. 9 (SMM) – SHFE 1801 nickel opened at RMB 88,420/mt today and hovered at highs. In the afternoon, SHFE 1801 nickel rose to RMB 88,700/mt and closed at RMB 88,060/mt, up RMB 3,230/mt or 3.81. Trading volumes on SHFE 1801 nickel increased 371,000 to 797,000, and positions increased 58,900 to 441,000. About RMB 530 million flowed to SHFE nickel. SHFE 1801 nickel will fluctuate at highs this evening. EIA crude oil inventories in the US will be released this evening.
