SMM reported on August 15th: Indonesia's tin ingot exports amounted to 3,409 tonnes in July 2024, marking a decrease of 23.5% compared to the previous month and a significant drop of 51.5% year-on-year. Specifically, during this month, Indonesia exported 1,326 tonnes of tin ingot to India and 1,118 tonnes to China.

An in-depth analysis of import and export data in recent years reveals that India's share in Indonesia's tin ingot export market is showing an annual growth trend. Based on the current growth momentum and market demand forecasts, Indonesia's tin ingot exports to India are expected to exceed 12,000 tonnes this year, setting a new record high.
