Just a few days after China and Brazil reached a deal to trade in their own currencies, rumours are now flying that the US threatens to impose sanctions on any country who ditches US dollar for trade settlement.
China and Brazil have reached a deal to trade in their own currencies, ditching the US dollar as an intermediary, the Brazilian government said on March 29.
The deal will enable China and Brazil to conduct their massive trade and financial transactions directly, exchanging yuan for reais and vice versa instead of going through the dollar.
The visit came shortly after the two countries reached a deal to trade in their own currencies, instead of the US dollar.
