Indonesia's refined tin exports fell 70% in January compared with the same period last year.

Indonesia exported 1216.44 tons of refined tin in January, down 70.7 per cent from the same period last year, according to figures released by Indonesia's trade ministry on Friday.

Mining officials have previously said that Indonesia's tin export permits have been issued slowly due to administrative problems, and the government is currently dealing with the problem.
