【Aluminum Price Center Rises, Secondary Aluminum Prices Steadily Increase】Today, aluminum prices saw a slight expansion in gains, with SMM A00 aluminum prices rising by 100 yuan/mt from yesterday to 19,870 yuan/mt, and secondary aluminum prices actively following the upward trend. For domestic prices, large domestic secondary aluminum enterprises raised their quotes by 0-100 yuan/mt to 20,600-20,900 yuan/mt, while small and medium-sized plants increased their quotes by 0-100 yuan/mt to 20,300-20,500 yuan/mt. On the import side, overseas prices for imported ADC12 ranged from $2,430-2,460/mt, with real-time losses per ton for imported ADC12 remaining around 400 yuan. Today’s aluminum price maintained its upward momentum, with two consecutive days of increases driving the secondary aluminum market to actively adjust prices upward. Currently, the supply of aluminum scrap in the market remains tight, and production costs for secondary aluminum plants are high. Some enterprises have reduced their operating rates due to raw material shortages or environmental protection-related controls, and finished product inventories at manufacturers are relatively low. In the short term, secondary aluminum alloy prices are expected to be more likely to rise than fall.
