On July 11, the State Council Information Office held a series of press conferences on the theme of "Authoritative Departments Talking about the Beginning". Wang Guanghua, the Minister of Natural Resources and the Chief Inspector of National Natural Resources, said at the press conference that since the 14th five-year plan (FYP), 124 prospective prospecting areas were initially delineated and 102 prospecting target areas were submitted to provide guidance for social funds to carry out commercial exploration. Furthermore, he added that we will continue to optimize and improve relevant policies with relevant departments to create a good environment for various social entities to invest in mineral exploration and development. For example, we’ll guide all localities to promote the transfer of "clean mines", improve service efficiency by strengthening the preparatory work for the transfer of mining rights, and strengthen the guarantee of land use, forestry and grass elements, accelerate the approval of key mining projects and promote domestic demand and stabilize growth.
