On April 18, XPeng Motors released its first strategic model based on the "Fuyao" architecture, the super smart coupe SUV XPeng G6. The "Fuyao" architectur adopts the only mass-produced front and rear integrated aluminium die-casting body (front cabin, rear floor), and the body structure is formed by one-time die-casting.
The number of one-piece aluminium die-casting front cabin parts has been reduced by 95, and the number of one-piece aluminium die-casting rear floor parts has been reduced by 64.
The one-piece die-casting front cabin and rear floor are produced by two sets of 7000T super-large die-casting islands respectively. The torsional rigidity of the whole vehicle has been greatly increased to 42,000N•m/deg, which is 50% higher than that of the traditional body, and the safety of the body has been greatly improved. In terms of batteries, the "Fuyao" architecture adopts CIB battery-body integration technology.
