From the first power industry technology innovation conference, as of the end of March, China's power generation installed capacity reached 2.62 billion kilowatts, ranking first in the world.
Among them, the installed capacity of non-fossil energy power generation was 1.33 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 15.9%, accounting for more than 50% of the total installed capacity for the first time, reaching 50.5%, nearly three times the installed capacity of non-fossil energy power generation in the United States.
Among these non-fossil energy sources, 430 million kilowatts of grid-connected solar power, 376 million kilowatts of grid-connected wind power, and 524 million kilowatts of other non-fossil energy such as hydropower.
The installed capacity of wind power, photovoltaic power generation and hydropower generation ranks first in the world.
At the same time, the power generation of non-fossil energy in the first quarter also continued to increase, an increase of 8.9% year-on-year, accounting for 33.6% of the total power generation, an increase of 1.6 percentage points year-on-year.
