SHANGHAI, Nov 24 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 5.02 million mt as of Thursday November 24, down 69,600 mt or 1.4% from a week ago, and down 31.0% from the same period last year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 3.16 million mt, down 104,900 mt or 3.21% on the week, and a drop of 29.2% on the year.
The in-plant inventory stood at 1.85 million mt, up 35,300 mt or 1.9% on the week, and down 33.8% on the year.
