Lithium Salt Prices Extend Gains, Cobalt Prices Remain Stable

SHANGHAI, Nov 8 (SMM) -The SMM spot price of domestic lithium carbonate (99.5% battery grade) rose by 2,000 yuan/mt to 556,000-575,000 yuan/mt November 8, and those of domestic lithium hydroxide (56.5% battery-grade,coarse particles) also rose 2,000 yuan/mt to 549,000-567,000 yuan/mt.

SHANGHAI, Nov 8 (SMM) -The SMM spot price of domestic lithium carbonate (99.5% battery grade) rose by 2,000 yuan/mt to 556,000-575,000 yuan/mt November 8, and those of domestic lithium hydroxide (56.5% battery-grade,coarse particles) also rose 2,000 yuan/mt to 549,000-567,000 yuan/mt.

In addition, the spot price of spodumene concentrate (6%, CIF China) also rose $50/mt to $5,350-5,550/mt.

In contrast, the SMM spot prices of refined cobalt were unchanged at 327,000-353,000 yuan/mt, with an average price of 340,000 yuan/mt.
